WANTED: POLICE STATION IN CROOKED TREE VILLAGE

Due to outrageous crime sprees in Crooked Tree Village, On April 2, 2012, a petition was launched by descendants, family and friends of Crooked Tree Village for a police officer to be reinstated and a police  station built.

In discussing this matter yesterday, Mr. Rudolph Crawford, former chairman of Crooked Tree Village, he informed me  that the representative for Belize Rural North, Hon. Edmond Castro assured him that funds for a police station will be in the budget for this year's reading. This is good news, but funds for a police station was promised to be budgeted for years, as far back as former Prime Minister Said Musa's Administration, and as of date the people of Crooked Tree are still without a police station and now a police officer. This is totally unacceptable!

Until we see proof of this money in the budget please continue to sign this petition. We must stand firm and stand together on this major issue!!
