DINNER WITH THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF BELIZE-HIS EXCELLENCY, SIR COLVILLE YOUNG & LADY YOUNG

It's November 4th, and this means that Sir Colville Young, the Governor-General of Belize and his wife will be gearing up to host their annual fundraising Christmas Toy Drive to benefit Children in Belize. This year's event kicks off on Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Little Belize Restaurant in Inglewood, California. The event collects hundreds of toys for needy children in Belize. You can help the children of Belize by donating unwrapped toys or monetary contributions of $25 will be accepted.

If those attending would like to bring an unwrapped toy in addition to the cost of entry they are free to do so.

Mrs. Francine Young-Coleman and Ms. Michelle LeVert, two of the organizers have taken to revive the toy drive in Los Angeles, California. The Consulate General of Belize in Los Angeles will be participating in the coordinated effort to host the fundraiser. The bigger picture is to bring some joy to underprivileged children who might not have gotten any toys or gifts for the Holidays Season of giving.

The kick-off starts at 7:00 p.m. at 217 Nutwood Street, Inglewood, Ca. 90301

Come on people, be there or send in your donations to bring a smile on the faces of the children of Yabra, Hatteville and Seine Bight that have just suffered through Hurricane Richard!!
