Israel's president, Shimon Peres addressing the crowd at the 14th anniversary of the assassination of former Prime Minister of Israel,Yitzhak Rabin in Tel Aviv.
Rabin was shot in a Tel Aviv square rally for support of the Oslo Accords. His assassin, Yigal Amir, a religious fanatic, rejected Rabin's peace initiatives.
Many people in Israel to this day blame the "Right" for the environment that enabled an Israeli to take the life of a prime minister.
If Rabin wasn't assissinated, would there have been peace today between the Israelis and Palestinians? We just don't know.
