This will be a speech to remember long after the Obama presidency. Here you see Obama grappling with the Rev. Wright issue. Much of what Rev. Wright said is repulsive and repugnant, but if you listen closely, some of it is inspiring. Rev. Wright rage against a majority that has, in the not so distant past, given Black America every reason to be angry.
Obama spoke movingly about the need for racially equality and understanding. I admired Barack Obama for his refusal to disowned the Rev. Wright, but also refusing to endorsed some of his messages.
